Summary: Vancouver / Lacamas Lake Loops (aka Ride Around Clark County - RACC)

Start: Clark College, Vancouver, WA

    (Hannah/Hawkins/Foster Hall, 3rd Clark College parking lot entrance on right
   going north on Fort Vancouver Way from intersection with E McLaughlin Blvd.)

Option 1a

Distance: 18 miles

Climbing Elevation: <500' (est.)

Difficulty: Easy, flat

 

Option 1b

Distance: 34 miles

Climbing Elevation: 1000'

Difficulty: Moderate, some small rolling hills

(Note: All RACC route directions indicated with road markings :

18 mile = pink, 34 mile = blue, 67 mile = yellow, 102 mile = white)

 

Option 2

Summary: Cedar Mills to Vancouver Loop + Vancouver / Lacamas Loop

Start: NW 94th Terrace, Portland, OR

Distance: 34 miles (plus Option 1: total = 52, 68, 101, 136)

Climbing Elevation: 1500' (est.) (plus Option 1)

Difficulty: Hard (West Hills climb from downtown after 52+ miles :)

3. Right on E Brandt Rd

4. Left on E Mill Plain Blvd

5. Right on E MacArthur Blvd (becomes SE St Helens Ave)

7. Right on SE 98th Ave

8. Left on SE 10th St (becomes SE McGillivary Blvd)

10. Right on SE Village Loop

11. Right on SE 162nd Ave

12. Right on SE Cascade Park Drive (becomes SE Talton Ave)

13. Left on SE McGillivary Blvd (becomes SE 10th St)

14. Right on SE 98th Ave

15. Left on SE St Helens (becomes E MacArthur Blvd)

16. Left on E Mill Plain Blvd

17. Right on E Brandt Rd

3. Left on W Burnside to SW Barnes (or through cemetery) to SW Skyline

4. Right on SW Skyline to SW Fairview to SW Knights Blvd through Washington Park

5. Exit the park on W Burnside, NW 23rd Pl to NW Everett to NW 10th

6. Left to NW Lovejoy over Broadway Br

7. Left on NE Williams to NE Jessup to NE Vancouver Av

8. Vancouver Av to NWE Union to NE Walker to NE Vancouver Way to I5

9. I5 pedestrian bridge to Vancouver

10. Main to McLoughlin Blvd to Fort Vancouver way to Clark College

 

Continue to Option 1 followed by return to Cedar Mills roughly in reverse of above.
