Team Fundraising

Team Wanta raised $30,336 for Multiple Sclerosis (about 10% of the Oregon 2002 MS150 total), bringing our six-year total funds raised to $153,831.

For the fourth year in a row, Team Wanta recruited the largest team for the Oregon MS150 - 47 cyclist (plus 5 volunteers) (over 10% of the total field of participants). 

Team Wanta extends congratulations to other teams and individuals for their outstanding efforts.  We have collectively come a long way since Team Wanta's first year of involvement with the top five teams now contributing almost $125,000 (almost five times the total of the top five teams in 1998).

Congratulations to our Team Wanta top individual fund raisers! 

We welcome 4 new cyclists to the $1,000+ club - Derek, Jen, Lynne, and Jerry!  Congratulations on achieving this substantial pledge level.

Additionally, while the order of our top five fundraisers has not changed from 2002, their accomplishments certainly have - this year they collectively increased their total fundraising by 40% ($17,571 in 2003 from $12,435 in 2002) (Doug led the way with an 80% increase - WOW!) - way to go top fundraisers!

And finally, we welcome three new cyclists to the $500+ club - Bee, Robert, and Julia.  Bee also garners additional kudos for participating in the most training rides!  Good job folks!

Curious about those yellow cyclist numbers?  Yellow cyclist numbers are reserved for the top 100 fundraisers.  This year Team Wanta had 10 cyclists in the top 100 (the cut-off was about $610).
