Team Wanta returned again to challenge ourselves and other MS150 teams and individual riders to generate ever-increasing funds for Multiple Sclerosis.  In 2002, the Oregon MS150 raised a record $284,000.  Team Wanta finished second in team fund raising, and for the third year in a row, claimed the largest team honors (58 riders plus 4 volunteers).  Together we are making a difference in the fight against MS.

2002 MS 150 Bike Tour Route Information
Designed for all levels of cyclists, August 3-4, 2002 marked the Oregon Chapter's 18th annual two-day MS 150 Bike Tour!  In addition to the always challenging 150-mile ride, the 2002 MS 150 Bike Tour offered a choice of 25-, 50-, or 75-mile route options each day.

All routes were lined with the breathtaking scenery found in the Willamette Valley.  Starting and ending at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, the first day of the tour cycled through the heart of the state's abundant wine country.  Entertainment, dinner, and the festive Full Sail Brewing Beer Garden highlighted the overnight celebration.  The second day looped through scenic farm country that followed the Willamette River and crossed picturesque covered bridges concluding with a finish line barbeque for all cyclists and volunteers.
